Zucchini or banana bread, if i'm cooking a vegetable, I let them break off the end of green beans. My older daughter helps peel carrots. They cut their own softer fruit using a plastic knife.

I baked and cooked at home and was encouraged to do more as I got older. I was in charge of cooking/preparing a meal once a month for the family. My favorite was breaded chicken and broccoli. I still love this meal but I tailor it now to be a little healthier now. :)
