For the most part the basic tools are the same. You can download a presentation made on Google slides and open it with PowerPoint on your desktop and most settings will stay the same. At least that is what I have experienced.
Max Fairbee
38:55
Wow, that's pretty cool. :)

I work with a Mac. My PP does not have Format tab, but everything else. Is this hiding?
Shirley Salado
41:39
I just searched for FORMAT and a shape Format shows up…
Tammy McMurdo
41:51
Does anyone know about MACs?
ADAN OSORIA
42:08
@Shirley on a mac, when I click on a picture the Picture Format tab comes up after View at the top of the program itself. not the apple menu bar, but inside the powerpoint window
Shirley Salado
43:06
Got it! Thanks.
Max Fairbee
43:26
I do the same thing but using the snipping tool... extra step and I save the jpeg. It's higher quality on a bigger screen :)
Max Fairbee
53:20
Do transitions also Affect or fade the audio?
Elaine Silver
56:32
Thank you Itzel!
Max Fairbee
57:50
I mean if I have audio on my slides and I apply the fade tool. Will I need to allow a longer time between slides.
Max Fairbee
58:08
Thanks
Max Fairbee
58:32
I assume I should leave longer time
Annabelle Factura
01:01:36
Usually your audio will end before you transition to the next slide unless you adjust the timing of your audio to play across multiple slides.
Annabelle Factura
01:02:13
If you are playing audio across multiple slides, the audio should play seamlessly through the transition
Max Fairbee
01:02:14
@Annabella Thanks!
Annabelle Factura
01:04:22
You're welcome, Max!
Leticia Christian
01:04:55
Thank you. I am improving my knowledge about Power Point a lot.
Kim Stempien
01:05:47
I have two graphics with the same number on animation pane and I'd like to separate them. Do you know how I'd do this? Ungroup them or ?
Max Fairbee
01:07:22
Lyn, that's exactly my question! Thanks!
Shirley Salado
01:08:34
Wow! Mac’s do not have a Multiple choice…any help?
Itzel Palacios
01:09:21
Something that might help become familiar with animations too is that they are color coded
Maricarmen Anaya
01:11:06
If you want to separate and add different animations, just select one at the time and add the animation, then is going to give you a different number to each of them
Annabelle Factura
01:11:41
You may have the setting to play together
Kim Stempien
01:17:00
Thanks Maricarmen! The 3 graphics were part of a smart art template design that began with 3 graphics. I don't know how to separate them so may just start over as 3 individual graphics. Thanks again.
Kim Stempien
01:21:19
Is there a way to select just a portion of video?
Annabelle Factura
01:22:55
Yes, you can trim the video under the video tool tab
ADAN OSORIA
01:22:59
@Kim when you click the video you can click trim video
ADAN OSORIA
01:23:26
under the playback tab when you click the video
Kim Stempien
01:24:00
Thanks Adan & Annabelle!
Max Fairbee
01:35:41
Can they copy a slide from it?
Shirley Salado
01:36:35
Thank you! Always good to have step-by step instructions!
Annabelle Factura
01:37:17
If it's .ppsx, the presentation will only be viewable in presenter mode
Annabelle Factura
01:37:40
They will not be able to edit/copy slides
Yolanda Silva
01:37:43
I try to do the cube along the presentation... way to fast. I stayed in step 2 :-(
Annabelle Factura
01:38:29
I know, I'm sorry. We still had content to cover and we were running out of time.
Max Fairbee
01:38:29
Thanks Annabella... good information :)
